With this tour we will visit one of the new tourist circuits of Cusco. The "Laguna de Humantay" is a natural attraction located in the town of Soraypampa, formerly it was only visited by those who ventured to make the trek to Salkantay, but now it has become one of the most visited places by travelers. Visiting the Humantay Lagoon will not take more than 1 day, the hike is easy if you have previously acclimatized in Cusco and the reward for this effort will be the wonderful scenery that can be seen in this turquoise lagoon.

Day 1:
This beautiful experience begins with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco, we will pick you up from 04:00 am - 04:40 am, we start the trip in a private tourist bus from Cusco at 05:00 am passing through the areas of Izcuchaca and Limatambo arriving to Soraypampa (3900 m.a.s.l.) where we will be approximately at 08:30 AM where we will have our breakfast in a campsite.
Then we will begin the hike of 01:30 hours until the Humantay lagoon located (4220 m.a.s.l.) where we will be able to observe the crystalline lagoon, we will have a time for exploration and guided on this Humantay mountain, then we will continue until the point of lunch and camping of Soraypampa and finally we will take the bus of return to Cusco for 03:30 hours.

You will be greeted at Cusco airport and taken to your hotel, please ensure that you inform us of your full flight details at least 14 days prior to arrival. Look out for our representative holding an orange TOUR IN GROUP Peru board at the exit from the arrival terminal.

If you would like to avoid the high credit card fees in Peru, you may pay in cash at our office (US dollars or Peruvian soles) here in Cusco. There are many ATMS within the historical center to withdraw money. You can also pay by VISA or PAYPAL online but you will have to pay a 5.5% service fee, charged by VISA and PAYPAL. The briefing will take place the night before the trek at 6pm in our office, which is located at Calle Garcilaso 210, office 213 (second floor) in the La CASA DEL ABUELO shopping center.
Yes! You have to bring your original passport and it is very important that it is the same passport number you sent to us to book your trek, other entrances and reservations.
