Day 1:
Cusco, Mollepata, Challacancha, Soraypampa, laguna Humantay
The first day of this adventure starts at your hotel in Cusco, we will pick you up between 04:30 am and 05:00 am , then we will take a tour bus to Mollepata (2900 m.a.s.l.) m) where we will be approximately at 7:30 am and we will have our breakfast of the first day, finished the breakfast we will be able to leave our 07 kilos for our riders, then we will take a private transport during one hour until arriving to Challacancha (3675 m.s.n.m.) point of beginning of the long walk that will last approximately 3 hours arriving to Soraypampa (3900 m.s.n.m) where we will be approximately at 1.30 pm. In Soraypampa we will enjoy our first lunch and also will be the place of our first camp where we will spend the first night, after lunch we will make a walk to and from the beautiful lagoon of Humantay (4200 m.a.s.l.).
Walking to Humantay lagoon is a 1:30 minutes ascent where we will arrive to the beautiful Humantay lagoon where we will have enough time to appreciate the turquoise color of the lagoon and the snowy APU Humantay. Then we will make the descent for approximately 40 minutes to Soraypampa for tea time which is approximately at 18:00 hours and then enjoy our delicious dinner prepared by our chef, finally we will go to our tents or sleeping tents.

Day 2:
Soraypampa, Salkantaypampa, Abra de Salkantay, Chaullay
The second day of the Salkantay trek begins at 5:00 am, we enjoy a nutritious breakfast and then continue with our walk for approximately 3 hours passing through Salkantaypampa and Soyrococha where we will appreciate a small lagoon until we reach the highest point of the Salkantay pass ( 4530 masl), from where we can appreciate the imposing snow-capped mountains of Salkantay, Humantay, Tucarhuay and Pumasillo, after having enough time to appreciate the beautiful views of the Salkantay pass, we will begin the descent for 3 hours until we reach Huayracmachay (3800 msnm) where we will enjoy our lunch after a short rest we will continue the walk where you will notice a dramatic change in the landscape, this walk is really impressive then we continue descending for 3 hours until we reach Chaullay (2900m.snm) where after enjoying the dinner we will spend the second night of this walk.

Day 3:
Chaullay, Playa Sahuayaco, Santa Teresa
The third day of this adventure begins with our breakfast at 06.00 am, then we will start the walk for approximately 05:30 hours all through our jungle eyebrow with flat ascents and descents, on this journey we will appreciate coffee plantations, orchids, begoneas, bromeliads and many natural plants used for natural medicine, arriving at our lunch point Playa Sahuayaca where we will have a “buffet” lunch and we will board a bus which is included from the lunch point to the camp (Playa - Santa Teresa). Arriving at our camp we will have the option of visiting the thermal baths located in Cocalmayo 1600 m.s.n.m. (Santa Teresa) that are not included in our package and we return to our camp at 06:00 pm, for our tea and dinner.

Day 4:
Santa Teresa, Hydroelectric, Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo)
The sunrise will be within a tropical zone full of history and nature there our breakfast awaits us ready to taste and then we will continue our journey towards the hydroelectric power station where we have lunch at the restaurant after lunch we will continue our walk through the tropical zone towards the town of Aguas Calientes and settle in the hostel and wait for dinner at 18.30 pm.

Day 5:
Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), Machu Picchu (Wonder of the World), Cusco.
We will get up very early in the morning to have the visit to Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of the citadel of Machu Picchu to visit temples, terraces, palaces and the platforms, then you will have time to take pictures and explore on your own.
Then you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to wait for your Expedition train at 6:20PM
Note: If you have Machu Picchu or Huaynapicchu mountain you would be entering in the first schedule from 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM and second schedule from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
(Not included in the Huaynapicchu or Machu Picchu mountain package)
